ABOUT ME
Filmmaker Producer Video Editor Creative Coder (Java, Javascript, Python, Unity)
Carnegie Mellon University Graduate Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Bachelor’s in Humanities & Art in Film & Electronic Media Minor in Game Design
I'm a multidisciplinary artist who works in many mediums including video, video games, interactive media, photography and puppets! While my practice centers anything whimsical and weird, I am passionate about public media, interactive entertainment, production, and children’s media.
All of these interests culminate to who I consider myself to be the most: a storyteller.
I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with an interdisciplinary major in Film and Art and a minor in Game Design. I have experience in and a passion for producing, public media, interactive entertainment, and children’s media. I deeply value inclusion, collaboration, and creating intentional work that will positively impact future generations.
In my professional career, I was the Undergraduate Assistant for the STUDIO for Creative Inquiry, where I filmed, edited, and organized videos and oversaw the documentation of over 700 affiliated projects. I have worked with Pluto TV, GBH’s Antiques Roadshow, and The Jim Henson Company. Currently, I am the Administrative Coordinator for the Carnegie Mellon History Department and a freelance videographer for clients such as TQ Live, Ginger Brooks Takahashi, Gordon Hall, CMU Oral Histories, and The Extended Reality Technology Center (XRTC).
I consider myself primarily a storyteller and filmmaker, but I also love to experiment with new technology and code to create weird projects (as best demonstrated by my Senior Capstone Project). I have a strong background in Premiere and other Adobe programs, and have used Unity, p5.js, EKO, and Python for my interactive work.
